We’ve moved!

April 20, 2010

Please visit the new site and new blog!

Well, this little darling would absolutely not sleep for us, so any shots you see of her looking like she’s sleeping are actually just quickly snapped during a blink! She was perfectly content however and never cried (except when we put her in a pumpkin, but that’s another story).

Enjoy!

I found your blog through another photographer’s site. I LOVE your photos! They are truly amazing. As a novice photographer, I am interested in knowing what camera you use and what your favorite lenses are. I especially love the sweet sweet baby photo at the end of this post!!!
    Thanks in advance!

I had a chance to take a few snaps of my own kids this weekend, some of them a little more reluctantly than others. In any case, since I’m not photographing older kids at the moment, this is a good opportunity to keep my chasing around skills honed!

Enjoy!

Holiday Session: Sneak Peek

November 7, 2009

I’ve photographed this little guy a few times, but I never remember his hair being quite this curly! Look at that strawberry blonde goodness!

Enjoy!

Here is a sneak peek for Miss G. She’s gotten so grown up, I can’t believe it!!

Enjoy!

A few of a familiar belly

I don’t do maternity that often, although I do pregnancy a lot myself. So, after four pregnancies of my own, I realized that I don’t have any shots of my own baby bump (ok, at 33 weeks it’s slightly more than a bump). So for my fifth pregnancy, I decided to remedy that situation, with a little help from my remote shutter release and my three-year old. (She was less helpful than you might imagine with the photographs, but she kept me company.)

Check out some of the cards

I love doing holiday sessions. A lot of photographers don’t, but I do. So, even though I’m “on a break,” I’m doing one day of sessions for the holidays. Yay!

Sneak Peek {Baby K}

October 14, 2009

It’s been so long that I’ve done any photography! Since I started my hiatus back in April-ish, we’ve moved a house (with four kids in it and a pregnant mom), a business, released the studio space, and generally spent a summer being in a state of complete overwhelmed-ness (is that even a word?).

Well, I’m taking newborn clients again, but only for a short period of time before I have one of my own, and this is the first one I’ve done in a while. Needless to say, he made my job easy and was sleepy and angelic and completely photogenic. These are a few sneak peeks for his family.

Keep your eye out for a holiday mini-session that I’m doing. It’s definitely a limited edition as I’m only doing one and offering a beautiful set of holiday card selections to go with it.

Enjoy!

Maybe I’m in love with him because he’s mine - but he looks absolutely perfect! Great photos!! Thanks Alex!

A Littlest Hero! Would you check out the hair on this little beauty? I had the privilege of photographing these two beautiful kids this past weekend for the Littlest Heroes Project (a great cause, I’ve met so many wonderful families through this group). She is one of the sweetest-natured little girls I’ve ever met and her brother is all energy!

More to come, but here are a few for her parents.

She is daddy’s little girl!
